The grass that is timber 🪵
If you see these pieces of wood, it’s hard to imagine they came from a round bamboo pole. Who would even think bamboo is a grass species?
The same way you slash your grass every week, that is how you harvest bamboo every year. The same way your grass remains green, a bamboo forest keeps storing carbon and breathing oxygen, even after harvesting.
This makes bamboo a very sustainable alternative of traditional timber.
If only we knew about the endless possibilities with bamboo!
