In 2024, Studio Akeka was selected as one of 11 projects under the Open Call Climate Justice by the Creative Industries Fund NL (Stimuleringsfonds) for their proposal “Designing Tomorrow Together.” Studio Akeka is also one of the founding members of Bamboo Uganda.

After an introduction to bamboo structural principles and joinery theory, we will move into hands-on practice — applying what we’ve learned directly.
☕ Coffee/tea and snacks will be provided.
🕑 14:00 – Official closing
Stay afterwards to connect with fellow bamboo enthusiasts, builders, designers, and innovators.
