Akeka’s focus is building with natural materials. Not only because of the beauty, but also (or even more) because of their functionality.
Bamboo is one of their favorite materials. Besides using it in Uganda, at a lodge they are currently building in Bwindi, they have used it in several building projects in Europe.
Are you an architect, engineer, builder or just a handyman, you may not want to miss this masterclass in applying bamboo in your projects.

After an introduction to bamboo structural principles and joinery theory, we will move into hands-on practice — applying what we’ve learned directly.
☕ Coffee/tea and snacks will be provided.
🕑 14:00 – Official closing
Stay afterwards to connect with fellow bamboo enthusiasts, builders, designers, and innovators.
